Valgrisenche is certainly one of the main climbing sites in Val d'Aosta and La Bethaz is one of the nicest walls. There are various sectors, each with its own climbing style. The view from there is breath-taking. Access Drive along Valgrisanche to the small village of La Bethaz (14 Km. from Laverogne). Leave your car in the small square at the end of the village and take an unpaved road to the rocks. Rinco is the sector you meet first not far (few meters) on the left (5 minutes). Cross a short bridge and you get to Gare 90. Walk along the path to Placche Inclinate near a bend (15 minutes). Higher Bethaz is only 5 minutes farther. Climate Exposure: South-East. Summer climbing (1800m) ROCK AND EQUIPMENT Solid gneiss . The equipment is good with spits. Difficulty There are about 40 routes ranging from 4 to 8a level
