Climbonthenet - Versasio

Versasio is one of the nicest places where to climb around Lecco. It offers a peaceful environment and a beautyful rock. The climbing style is variated, but mainly technical with some endurance wall.

Access
From Lecco follow the road to Valsassina and then go on in the direction of Piani d'Erna. Before the last right turn (parking), take left and reach the village of Versasio. Park the car. Walk in the village and take a steep path on the right in the woods, that brings to the base of the wall (15 min).

Climate :
Exposed West. OK from April to October.

Rock & Equipement :
Excellent limestone, very good equipement (spit).

Difficulty :
From 6a to 7b. Main level: 6c. The wall of "Silverado", 7a+, is one of the best climbs in this area!!
