It's simply the big wall of the area of Lecco. It offers many long and difficult routes in a
lonely environment.
These routes, if you are phisically well prepared, are really interesting and satisfacting...

Access
From Lecco take the road to Colico-Sondrio and get out at the exit of Abbadia Lariana, Mandello.
Go on to Mandello, then turn right and go to the little village Rongio (400m). Park the car end take
the path to the Rifugio Elisa (number 14) up to the Val Cassina (2h, water at your right).
Leave the main path on the right, taking the steep path of the Val Cassina, reaching the base of the
beautiful big wall (2h 45min).

Climate
This wall is exposed South. Generally it is climbable from May to October (snow in the Val Cassina in
winter and beginning of spring).

Rock & Equipement
The rock is excellent. The equipement is dependant on the route you want to climb.
