Civate is one of the most popular climbing sites
in the area of Lecco. It is very quick and easy to reach, the rock is solid,
the landscape around is nice and peaceful, with a beautiful panorama on the
Annone lake. Last, but not least, difficulties are ideal for beginners...

How to get there
Coming from Milan (clearway Milano-Lecco) take the exit of Civate
(5km before Lecco). Follow the indications for San Pietro al Monte.
At the end of the road, after a steep ascent, leave the car in a dirt park.
Continue walking on a surfaced road and pass the village Pozzo and the "Crotto del Capraio", where
it is also possible to eat.
At the following junction take left and, after about 250m, take a path on the left, leading
to the walls (15 minutes).

Climate
Exposition: South. Climbable all the year (morning in the winter,
late afternoon in the summer).

Solid limestone, unfortunately polished by use... The
equipement is excellent.
