Chronicle of a day.
With some friends we decide to climb in Albigna.
The place is wonderful, the lake below, the blue sky above, and in front of us a great rock.
My girl friend and I decide to climb the "Mosaico" route. Extraordinary!! We finish our route full of happiness. We arrive at the start of the "Dente" route where we meet two of our friends. We can't help climbing the route, in spite of the incoming fog and the late time. We reach the flat top of the monolith, with an idiot smile, not knowing what would soon happen to us.
In the rappell, the rope sticks in the rock. I'm forced to come back over the rope. Then, on the way back, a tremendous storm breaks out. We arrive at the meeting point two hours late. And it's not over, yet. On the way back we lose our path, and we are caught by the dark.
The moral of the sermon is: Albigna is a paradise, but take care not to be taken by the excitment.

Access
From Chiavenna follow the Maloja indications and cross the frontier. Pass the village of Vicosopiano. Arrive at Pranzaia where you can take the cableway.

Great granite. Well equipped. We recommend the use of nuts and friend and the two ropes. (helmet is mandatory)
