Not far from Veravo there are two great limestone walls: the Rocca Rossa and the Bausu. These two not crowded and wonderful climbing places are a good alternative to Finale Ligure. The Rocca Rossa is an esthetic wall 100 meters high where Manlio Motto has traced some very good routes. Access Take motorway A10 to Albenga. Follow the sign for Garessio and after 4 Km turn left for Castelbianco. 4 Km farther, before the town centre, turn right to Veravo. You can leave the car near the cemetery and take the little road on the left side. After a few meters turn left and in a few minutes you arrive at the base of the wall. Climate Exposition: SOUTH. Good period from October to April. Suicide in summer. Rock and equipment Limestone. 10 mm spit Difficulties Lots of 7a (6b obl.) routes
